Tara is amazing. I have suffered from chronic back pain for the past 15 years. I have had 2 MRIs and tried chiropractic (regular and Network), massage, and physiotherapy appointments with limited success. My personal fitness has suffered as every session I spent in the gym, I would tweak or injure something, making the back pain worse - basically scaring me away from the gym. Having never done Pilates, Tara took the time to understand my issues and concerns and put together a series of personalized sessions. She is an amazing instructor, making me feel comfortable and ensuring I was doing everything perfectly to maximize the benefits to my body while limiting the chances of injury - my biggest fear. She even put together sessions I could do on my own when I was out of town for work. Tara got me hooked on Pilates as a safe yet full body challenging workout. While my back isn't fixed, since hitting that 30 session mark, I haven't seen my Chiropractor and I haven't missed any work due to my back. I would recommend anyone who is looking for increased mobility, strength, and flexibility to try Pilates with Tara.

II'I'm a 58 year old retiree who has suffered from chronic back and hip pain for years. Going into retirement I decided that I had better focus on my health if I was to live my best life. Tara encouraged me to try Pilates and so I joined her virtual sessions. Within a short period of time my strength and mobility improved significantly. I felt more confident about how I moved, my posture was better and I had way less pain in both my back and hips. I would highly recommend Tara. Not only is she a great person who is super personable, but she really knows her stuff. I have a better quality of life thanks to Tara and Pilates will always be part of that.

Tara was recommended to me a few months ago in the hopes that she could give me some relief from my loss of mobility due to my arthritic knees. After 32 sessions, I am amazed at the improvement! The biggest change for me is making my brain work to engage muscles! Using the Pilates equipment gives me a full workout, but it doesn’t seem as hard as my usual resistance work. And I always leave feeling so much better! Taller, stronger and everything moves better! Tara is wonderful to work with. She is so caring and obviously loves what she is doing. She makes every class different and the time flies by. And, she lets me figure out what I can do, but also doesn’t let me slack off. Some of the movements have been hard to master, but with Tara’s encouragement, I’ve been able to work through it and get it right. The hardest for me was a plank on the reformer machine. I tried and failed a few times, tried and was partially successful a couple of times, and finally did it! And did it again to prove to myself that I could. We both cheered! That brain/muscle connection is amazing! For anyone thinking about starting Pilates, I highly recommend starting with Tara’s one on one sessions. Absolutely amazing! Tara has definitely instilled a love for Pilates in me.
